Dr. Yana Bromberg
Professor
Research Interests
My primary interests are in building bioinformatics approaches for protein function prediction and genome variation analysis. Specific projects are: 1. Analysis of human variomes for autoimmune disease predisposition 2. Protein function annotation using in silico mutagenesis 3. Mapping evolution of life’s electron transfer reactions 4. Microbial species identification using genome-determined functional signatures. 5. Determining microbiome composition and interactions from metagenomic data.
